Street Lighting Group Manager Needed!
Are you a Street Lighting Group Manager looking for a change?
I am currently looking for a Street Lighting Group Manager to work in a very busy local authority in Scotland.
The some of main responsibilities of the role are:
 
·deliver a cost effective, sustainable street lighting service to ensure the safety of road users.
·ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and recognised best practice.
 
·effectively manage the development, installation, maintenance and monitoring of the City's street lighting network
 
·provide specialist professional advice relating to lighting and electrical engineering to senior management
 
·Ensuring that work practices, risk assessments, absence management and disciplinary procedures are in line with council Policy.
 
The following are essential:
 
- Degree/HND/HNC or equivalent level qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
 
- Valid Electrotechnical Certification Scheme (ECS) card and Health and Safety Assessment Certificate.
 
 
- City & Guilds 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations (BS7671) 2008. A current driving licence.
