Highways Site Supervisor (Temporary Cover)
Are you an experienced Highways Site Supervisor seeking an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills? We have a fantastic temporary position available for a duration of one month, starting next week. Join our dynamic team as a Highways Site Supervisor at our leading civil engineering contracting company, specializing in highway maintenance and upgrades in the region. This role offers a competitive daily rate of £400, paid Inside IR35.

Responsibilities:
·Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of highway maintenance and upgrade projects in the region.
·Ensure adherence to project specifications, timelines, and quality standards.
·Coordinate and allocate resources, including personnel and equipment, to effectively execute project tasks.
·Supervise and support site personnel, providing guidance and mentoring as required.
·Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project delivery.
·Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective measures.
·Maintain accurate records of site activities, including site diaries, progress reports, and safety documentation.
·Promote and enforce a strong culture of health and safety on site, adhering to company policies and industry regulations.
·Liaise with stakeholders, clients, and local authorities, fostering positive working relationships.

Requirements:
·Previous experience as a Highways Site Supervisor or similar role within the civil engineering or construction industry.
·In-depth knowledge of highway maintenance and upgrade projects, including relevant processes and regulations.
·Proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively, ensuring project objectives are met.
·Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of liaising with diverse stakeholders.
·Demonstrated commitment to health and safety, promoting a safe working environment.
·Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various project sites within the region.
·SSSTS/SMSTS will be required to work on the site.
