My client a leading Telecoms Network Provider building their own network in the West. They are providing full fibre networks to communities in the West of England and into Wales to improve the UK's infrastructure and broadband speeds. Working hard to bring rural communities, some of the fastest fibre across the UK. Working with new technologies, they offer great opportunities to gain new skills and knowledge and develop your opportunities within the telecoms sector.
 
They are currently looking for a Site Supervisor to assist the fibre networks, new build teams. You will be responsible for ensuring work is done safely, to specification and the network is built in a timely manner. Working closely with all teams, the supervisor will be responsible for the productivity of a handful of gangs. Ensuring they work in compliance with Streetworks regulations and hit the standards required of the customers.
 
The role comes with a van, fuel card, PPE and equipment. It is working across Devon on a 6 month contract with potential opportunities to either extend or go permanent.
 
Requirements:
 
·Telecoms experience
·Supervisory experience
·Streetworks (NRSWA) Supervisor ticket
·Full UK Driving License
·Good Health & Safety understanding
·Good communication skills
·Ability to manage small teams
·Ability to work well with local authorities
 
Responsibilities:
 
·Ensure the construction programme is kept to and maintained
·Ensure productivity objectives set by the mangers are met
·Assist and advise on construction works
·Quality check and ensure teams are compliant with Method Statements and Risk Assessments
·Carry out site quality and safety inspections
·Monitor teams performance and educate on high performance
·Ensure all traffic management is correct and permits are booked
