Site Manager- Highways
 
I am currently recruiting for a Site Manager working with a client in Birmingham.
 
The Site Manager- Highways will be responsible site operations in relation to delivery of footway and carriageway schemes in and around Birmingham including health and safety, programme, quality and budget.
 
You will also be putting together construction phase plans and associated documentation, issuing permits and compiling health and safety file information.
 
Candidates must have
 
·SMSTS (5 Day CITB Site Manager's Safety Training Scheme).
·NRSWA Street Works (Supervisor) Certificate
·Full UK Driving Licence
The requirements of the role are
 
·Experience in the delivery of the Principal Contractor's obligations under the
·CDM Regulations 2015 and role of the Supervisor under the NEC.
·Extensive experience in the successful delivery of local highway projects involving nighttime working and restricted site availability.
·Experienced in the successful delivery of construction projects to tight time and budget constraints.
·Experience of managing the concurrent delivery of several schemes (individual scheme value up to £5m).
·Structures, roads, and technology scheme experience.
·Good working knowledge of construction programming.
·Demonstrable team leadership and management skills.
·Commitment and adaptability.
