What you will do:
As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of highways projects in Manchester, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise all on-site activities related to highways projects in Manchester.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring work is carried out efficiently and to the required quality standards.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Manage and mentor site personnel, providing leadership and guidance.
- Collaborate with the project team to ensure effective communication and resolution of challenges.
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures.
What you will need:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager in highways construction projects.
- In-depth knowledge of highways construction processes and best practices.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Relevant qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
