Job Title: Site Engineer
 
Salary: £40,000-£45,000 per annum depending on experience
 
Location: South-West, UK
 
My client are a Civil Engineering contractor operating across the South-West area, and deliver a variety of services from groundworks, 278's and utilities. Due to a busy pipeline of works, they are looking for a Site Engineer with groundworks and drainage experience to join the team within the South-West area.
 
To be considered for the role, you should have demonstrable experience working on site as an engineer, setting out experience, and strong knowledge of groundworks, 278's and drainage works.
 
Responsibilities of the Site Engineer:
·Support the engineers and other members of the team on the projects
·Work across sites within the South-West area
·Liaise with customers and clients to ensure projects are completed within specification, and considering budget and time constraints
·Set out and survey sites using technical expertise
·Check drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy
·Promote quality, health and safety and environmental standards on site
 
Requirements:
·Site engineering experience
·Working knowledge of groundworks and 278's
·Degree/qualification in Civil Engineering or similar field
·Setting out experience
·Ability to utilise Leica equipment
·CSCS Card
·Full UK drivers license and happy to travel to sites
·Excellent communication skills and problem solving abilities
·A willingness to progress within the role
 
The package:
·A competitive salary of £40,000-£45,000 depending on experience
