What we need:
Our Client, a busy Highways contractor, are looking for a Highways Site Agent for work in the Bridgwater area (Somerset).
 
This is a full-time contract position. The rate on offer is £360 per day (OUTSIDE IR35). The job will be site based working on days.
 
What you will do:
As the Site Agent, you will be responsible for the supervision and general running of the site. This will include:
.Working with team members to deliver capital funded maintenance and improvement projects at the required quality and to budget, together with delivery of the communication and consultation requirements of the scheme.
.Coordinate and integrate resources to deliver a project or programme, utilising internal staff, shareholder resources, external consultants and contractors as required.
·Liaison with client, stakeholders and third parties, where necessary.
·Liaise with other team members associated with the allocated schemes.
·Ensure the design complies with the specification and agreed programme.
·Provide guidance and assistance to junior members of the team.
·Maintain accurate records on all allocated projects.
·Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and CDM requirements.
 
What you will need:
Previous Site Agent experience of Highways and Civil related work.
Street works experience would be advantageous due to the nature of business the company carry out.
An SMSTS or SSSTS will be required to get on site

What to do now:
This is an initial 3 month contract for a specific job however, the company will likely have other works in the area you can continue on beyond this job.
