Site Agent
£55,000-£60,000
Reporting to: Project Manager

Responsibilities-  
 
·Complete all activities with efficiency to maximise the time spent on site planning and supervising works
·Ensure site diaries are kept up to date.
·Carry out daily site briefings and supervise sub-contractor task briefings;
·Monitor all works activities to ensure the they meet the Works Specification and are being delivered in a safe manner.
·Work closely with Clients to help keep them well informed of the progress and nature of the site.
·Write and maintain contract programme
·Formal communications to clients and subcontractors including but not limited to Early Warnings, and instructions.
·Assist in the tendering of works and helping with the selection of sub-contract packages;
·Health safety and environmental compliance for your depot and ensure all identified actions are closed out within their time scale.
 
Experience
 
·A good level of experience in civil engineering and workforce supervision including earthworks; drainage and structures in a highways and/or a rail environment
·Effective team management, leadership and influencing skills to get the best from everyone;
·Excellent customer skills and the ability to demonstrate influencing in all situations;
·The ability to drive excellent relationships with contacts at all levels including the client, colleagues and members of key stakeholders;
·The ability to remain flexible in your approach to the role whilst embracing change and helping to drive that change through;
·Experience of working on NEC3 contracts including the mechanisms for notifications.
