Our client are a large Contractor and Consultancy working on some of the UK's largest Infrastructure projects. They work on several projects and have a huge presence in Defence & Nuclear. As one of the leading employers in this area, we have assisted several people with experience into a leading organisation.
 
Our client's division is a specialist in the Design, Build and Decommissioning of Nuclear plants, leading the way with innovation and ideas. They are currently looking for a Senior Setting Out Engineer (Surveyor) to work on their Project on HPC. Nuclear experience would be great but an experienced Setting out Engineer is required. Ideally with experience on setting out for temporary works. They are paying £50,000 to £60,000 depending on experience.

The role:
 
·Completing Setting out Surveys on the Hinkley C Site
·Ensure compliance of design through conducting post install location surveys
·Supplied setting out data must be reviewed and checked with the grid system for the site
·Lead a team of surveyors on site as a senior member of the team
·Produce "As-build" Surveys for the site works
 
Requirements:
 
·5 years + Setting out experience
·Knowledge of CDM regulations
·Strong experience in Setting Out
·AutoCAD experience
·STARNET experience (Desirable)
·Experience of conducting setting out reports and understanding site maps
·Experience with Survey Equipment such as Tool Station and Digital Level
·Experience in Leadership or mentoring
·Surveying or Engineering Degree or HND Desirable
