Carrington West are a working with a leading construction company specializing in infrastructure projects. We are looking for a Setting Out Engineer on a current project, based in King's Lynn, involving Enabling Works and Earthworks of significant magnitude. To ensure the success of this project, we are seeking a talented Setting Out Engineer to join on a freelance basis.

THIS JOB IS PAYING OUTSIDE IR35.

The Role:
As a Setting Out Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the Enabling Works and Earthworks scheme. Your responsibilities will include:
·Conducting site surveys and assessments to ensure accurate measurements and layouts.
·Setting out and marking excavation areas, foundations, and structures in compliance with project specifications.
·Monitoring and reporting on the progress of work, ensuring it aligns with project timelines.
·Collaborating with project managers, subcontractors, and other team members to ensure efficient project execution.
·Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times, promoting a safe working environment.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and experience:
·Proven experience as a Setting Out Engineer, with a focus on Highways, Enabling Works, or Earthworks projects.
·Proficiency in using setting out equipment and surveying instruments.
·Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and layouts.
·Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
·Knowledge of health and safety regulations in construction.
