The Role:
In this position, you'll report to a Director and be responsible for preparing Transport Statements, Transport Assessments, Technical Notes, and Travel Plans to support planning applications across a range of land uses. You'll provide transport and highways advice, analyze traffic data, and prepare visibility splay plans using AutoCAD. Additionally, you'll attend Design Team Meetings, liaise with clients and local authorities, and coordinate traffic, speed, and parking surveys. Site visits and offsite meetings will also be part of the role.
What We're Looking For:
·A relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree (e.g., Geography, Transport Planning, Civil Engineering)
·At least 2 years of post-graduate experience in transport consultancy
·Strong numeracy, communication, and writing skills
·Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as AutoCAD and AutoTRACK
·A full UK driving license is desirable
·Knowledge of junction modelling software is an advantage but not essential
