Senior Transport Planner

What you'll be doing
As a Senior Transport Planner, you'll take ownership of a wide range of transport planning projects - applying technical knowledge, leading client interactions, and guiding junior team members. Your key responsibilities will include:
·Preparing detailed Transport Notes, Statements, Assessments, Travel Plans, and Site Access Appraisals.
·Applying your understanding of local and national transport policy and guidance to inform project delivery.
·Using Junctions software (ARCADY and PICADY) for technical assessments.
·Designing traffic signals using LinSig.
·Developing preliminary designs for access, junction improvements, and highways schemes in AutoCAD.
·Producing clear and engaging visual outputs using GIS software and/or Corel Draw.
·Taking an active role in project management and client communication to ensure successful outcomes.
What you'll bring
You'll have solid experience as a Senior Transport Planner or Transport Planner ready to progress, along with:
·Proven experience in development transport planning.
·A degree in Civil Engineering, Geography, or Transport Planning.
·Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
·Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work proactively on multiple projects.
·Membership (or working towards membership) of a professional body such as CIHT or ICE.
