An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Traffic Engineer to come and join our client in South Wales on an initial 3 month contract.
 
 
Main Duties of the Traffic Engineer are:
 
·Design Traffic schemes and prepare TRO drawings and associated traffic sign drawings in accordance with national and council standards;
·Liaise with in-house teams as part of the design process;
·Carry out consultation, liaise with members of the public, councillors and others as well as our Legal Section to advertise the TROs;
·Promote Safe Working Practices, including compliance with CDM Regulations.
·A range of cycling, pedestrian, casualty reduction, speed management, and bus priority schemes
·Ability to use AutoCAD/ KeyLINES/ KeySIGN/ KeyACCIDENT
