Carrington West are assisting their local authority client based in Essex in the search for a Senior Town Planning Officer to join their team on an initial 3 month contract, then rolling.

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and energetic planning professional experienced DM Planning Officer to join them in their DM Team.

This post is offered on a hybrid basis with once a week or fortnightly visits.

The council office is located fairly close to London with good transport links.

There will be older applications and newer applications, varying in size and type.

Development Management experience in a local authority of more than 2 years is a must.

Please only apply if you have experience within a local authority or private sector company within planning.

It would be beneficial to have a degree or a postgraduate qualification accredited by the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI)

The council are looking for candidates who will be able to hit the ground running as soon as possible and are offering flexible working arrangements.

Carrington West Pay Rate  - £45per/hour (Depending on experience)
