Senior Planner
York Office (2 days per week)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and experienced Senior Planner to join a dynamic team at the York office. As a Senior Planner, you will play a key role in contributing to the success of our projects and shaping the future of our organization.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
·Lead the planning process for a variety of projects, ensuring effective coordination and delivery within specified timelines.
·Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather project requirements and develop comprehensive planning strategies.
·Conduct research and analysis to support planning decisions, staying abreast of industry trends and best practices.
·Engage with stakeholders, including local authorities and community groups, to ensure project alignment with regulatory requirements and community needs.
·Provide expert advice on planning policies, regulations, and procedures.
 
Requirements:
 
·Minimum of 3 years of experience in a planning role.
·Ideally chartered with a relevant professional body, but candidates working towards this qualification will be considered.
·Renewable energy project experience is a bonus but not essential.
·Strong understanding of planning legislation and regulations.
·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
·Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
·Flexibility to work 2 days a week in our York office.
 
Salary:
 
Competitive salary between £30,000 - £40,000, depending on experience. However, we are open to considering candidates with higher salary expectations based on their expertise.
 
The salary is negotiable and can be discussed in an interview or upon application, our client is also open to someone who is looking for part-time.
