Job description
Are you a highly skilled and experienced Senior Structural Engineer looking to join an award-winning consultancy in their Manchester office.
The successful senior structural engineer will be joining a multidisciplinary firm with 9 UK offices who are well established within a wide range of sectors working on projects both in the UK and internationally.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and analysis of various structural projects, including commercial, residential, and industrial buildings.
 - Oversee the work of junior engineers and provide mentorship and guidance.
 - Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
 - Participate in the preparation/presentation of proposals/bids as required including estimating timescales and costs for proposed works
 - Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
 - Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
 
Requirements
- BEng/MSc in Civil/Structural Engineering
 - Minimum of 4 years' experience
 - Chartered or working towards chartered status with ICE or IStructE
 - Experience working towards British standards on Eurocodes
 - Proficiency in structural analysis software and AutoCAD
 - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
