A fantastic opportunity is immediately available for a highly experienced Senior Structural Engineer to become a key part of a market leading, multi-disciplinary consultancy specialising in the high-quality delivery of a wide range of building structures projects across the residential, commercial and industrial sectors.
 
The successful applicant to play a leading part in the delivery of a wide range of small, medium and large building projects across numerous sectors.
 
To be considered for this Senior Structural Engineer role you will:
 
Hold, or working towards MIStructE / MICE / AMIStructE / AMICE or equivalent
Possess at minimum 5 years' experience within a UK based engineering consultancy
Possess experience working with steel, concrete, timber and masonry
Have a working knowledge of Tedds and AutoCAD
Think creatively and logically to resolve design challenges
Have a clean driving licence and use of car
Communicate fluently in both spoken and written English
 
Key responsibilities of this Senior Structural Engineer role include but not limited to:
 
Play a leading part in the delivery of a wide range of building projects from inception to completion
Attend site projects and design team meetings as required
Create, develop and maintain strong working relationships with highly valued clients
Lead projects independently on a range of contracts
Aid the development of more junior team members
Carry out structural design and analysis including reports on a range of projects
Assist with bid proposals
