A renowned engineering design consultancy in Gloucester are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join their residential housing team. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality structural designs for various residential projects, contributing to the growth and success of our consultancy.

Key Responsibilities:

·Lead the structural engineering aspects of residential housing projects from concept to completion, ensuring designs meet regulatory standards and client specifications.
·Conduct structural analysis and design using relevant software tools and methodologies.
·Prepare detailed calculations, drawings, and specifications.
·Collaborate closely with architects, designers, and other engineering disciplines to develop integrated solutions.
·Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff.
·Participate in project meetings, client presentations, and site visits as required.
·Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, codes, and best practices.

Qualifications and Experience:

·Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's degree preferred).
·Chartered status (or working towards) with a recognised professional institution (e.g., ICE, IStructE).
·Minimum of 4 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on residential projects.
·Proven track record of delivering successful projects on time and within budget.
·Strong understanding of relevant codes and standards (e.g., Eurocodes, British Standards).
·Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
·Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
