Due to a healthy forward workload, this is an opportunity for a Senior Structural Engineer to join a successful Engineering Consultancy in their Bristol office.
 
This opportunity offers a great opportunity to support the Director in leading an established office.
 
The key responsibilities of the role include:

·Ensuring that your engineering projects are efficiently and profitably completed
·Undertake engineering analysis and prepare calculations for structural and civil engineering projects using analysis and design 3D software including Tekla Structural Designer and Tedds.
·Liaising with both contractors and clients and attending both site and design meetings as you manage projects from "cradle to grave" in a right first-time environment
·Providing technical support to our clients by providing reports and presentations.
 
To be successful in this role we would expect you to be able to demonstrate the following:

·You should either be a chartered structural engineer, through IStructE or ICE ideally or close to chartership. The company has an excellent track record of supporting our employee's professional development with also strong focus on their personal development
·Hold a relevant degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (BEng, BSc, or a relevant master's degree).
·Be able to demonstrate significant experience of design using concrete, steel, masonry, and timber.
·A track record of technical delivery of civil and structural engineering design projects within our predominant sectors which include the commercial, industrial, residential, pre-cast concrete and our burgeoning green energy sector.
·A customer focus with strong communication skills and previous man management experience.
