My client is an established privately owned geotechnical consultancy based in London that works on all scale of projects throughout the UK and worldwide.
 
They are looking to develop an in-house geo-environmental business stream to support the geotechnical business but also to develop and maintain their own client portfolio.
 
The ideal candidate would;
 
·Have aa good level of previous experience of planning both Phase 1 and Phase 2 strategies and writing these reports
·Be able to write ground investigation specifications that are appropriate to the requirements of clients at the particular stage of the development life cycle
·Have a broad range of experience in Contaminated Land investigation, management, remediation and verification
·Have experience of supervising ground investigations
·Be able to communicate effectively with clients, structural engineers, Contaminated Land Officers, ground investigation contractors, and internally within the team
·Have significant experience of planning remediation strategies and writing verification reports
·Have budgetary, commercial and financial experience
·Be able to demonstrate the abilities to lead, develop and manage a new specialist team
 
This full time position would be based at their office inLondon, but will require travelling to sites and other workplaces as required.
 
Salary will be commensurate with experience.
