Position: Senior Site Engineer

Location: Southampton region

Hourly Rate: £45.00 (Outside IR35)

We are currently seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Site Engineer to lead and oversee major highway projects in the Southampton region. As a Senior Site Engineer, you will be responsible for managing site operations, ensuring technical excellence, and driving the successful completion of projects.

Responsibilities:
·Leading a team of site engineers and providing technical guidance and support.
·Managing and coordinating construction activities, subcontractors, and resources on site.
·Ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
·Conducting regular inspections and quality control checks to maintain high standards of workmanship.
·Collaborating with the project manager and other stakeholders to identify and resolve technical issues.
·Monitoring project progress, tracking key milestones, and reporting on project status.
·Maintaining accurate records of site activities, variations, and as-built drawings.

Requirements:
·CSCS card.
·SSSTS or SMSTS ticket.
·Proven experience as a Senior Site Engineer in highway construction projects.
·In-depth knowledge of civil engineering principles, specifications, and best practices.
·Proficiency in using surveying instruments, CAD software, and other relevant tools.
·Strong leadership and communication skills.
·Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
·Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
