Role: Senior Quantity Surveyor (Water)
Location: Peterborough
Salary: up to £65,000 p/a  
 
 
My client is looking to strengthen their commercial team with a Senior Quantity Surveyor for our STW framework. Based out of their Peterborough office, you will be providing commercial support for a project, working closely with the operational teams.

You will report directly to the Commercial Manager and the responsibilities will include:

• Understanding and implementing the contractual requirements of project documents, including the roles and responsibilities of all involved
• Cost management for project/section of works
• Value/change management for project/section of works
• Maintaining project risk and opportunities schedule
• Assisting procurement in the preparation and issue of subcontract documentation, enquiries and negotiations
• Financial reporting
• Providing training and support for junior commercial staff and operational staff
• Identification, preparation and negotiation of claims
• Working in compliance with the contract management tools i.e. Asite (STW system), IFS
• Final account, preparation, audit and agreement

About You

Essential

• A comprehensive level of commercial experience preferably with a contracting organisation.
• BSc or HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying or other equivalent construction related subject
• Financially astute
• NEC3/4 knowledge and experience
• Relevant CSCS Card
• Desirable
• Water industry experience
• Civils experience
• M&E experience
• Preferably qualified to ICES or RICS accreditation
