Senior Quantity Surveyor - Swindon
 
My client, a leading infrastructure company, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the team in Swindon. With a competitive salary of up to £70,000 per year, this role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a major project in the area - a £33 million Transport Hub regeneration project.

Key Responsibilities:
 
- Utilize your expertise in NEC contracts to effectively manage the commercial aspects of the £33 million Transport Hub regeneration project.
 
- Demonstrate your experience in Major Highways works to ensure the successful delivery of the project within budget and time constraints.
 
- Lead and supervise a team of Commercial Assistants, providing guidance, support, and mentoring as required.
 
Requirements:
 
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally in a senior role, with a strong background in managing NEC contracts and Major Highways works.
 
- Excellent project management and cost control skills to ensure the successful delivery of large-scale projects.
 
- Strong leadership abilities to effectively manage and motivate a team of Commercial Assistants.
 
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
 
- Professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field is highly desirable.
