Job description

I am currently looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor for an exciting permanent position in the Wiltshire area.

As Senior Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for delivering all commercial aspects relating to highways maintenance, routine activities and street lighting.

Main responsibilities for the vacancy:
·Support the operations team in delivery of highways maintenance, routine activities and street lighting.
·Cost capture for supply chain and self-delivered works.
·Management and recording of changes including submission and agreement of early warning notices, compensation events and quotations
·Submitting of monthly applications to the client and ensuring payment is received
·Risk & opportunity management
·Monthly cost and value reconciliation & management.
·Procurement and management of supply chain.
·Management of direct reports, to include annual performance review
·Site visits.
·Identify and promote sustainable alternatives to deliver work through contractors' proposals and improve efficiencies and KPI's demonstrating value for money.
 
Skills & Knowledge Requirements
·Degree or equivalent level qualification in Quantity Surveying or related construction subject
·Relevant CSCS Card
·Good knowledge of the NEC suite of contracts
·IT proficient, particularly in MS Office
