Are you an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor looking for an exciting opportunity to lead commercial work on a prestigious motorway project in the Bristol region? What you will do:
Our client is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team for a temporary assignment until February. This critical position has become available due to the impending departure of the current SQS and we need to ensure a seamless transition. The successful candidate will play a vital role in managing a team of 5 and overseeing subcontractors on this high-profile project.
What you will need
Qualifications and Experience:
NEC Option B: Strong familiarity with NEC contracts is essential.
Highways Experience: A background in highway construction and maintenance projects is highly desirable.
Team Management: Your ability to lead a team and manage subcontractors is crucial for success in this role.
Experienced Professional: Experience is valued as you will be working alongside a relatively new team.
Additional Requirements:
Driving License: A valid driving license is necessary due to the project's location and the need for on-site visits.
