Senior Project Manager - Nuclear EC&I
Location: Staffordshire (Hybrid / Flexible) Salary: Competitive (Market Rate)


Are you an accomplished Project Manager or a Senior Project Manager with the drive to take your career to the next level?
Our client is a recognized industry leader in optimizing efficiency and delivering exceptional performance. We are currently seeking a Senior Project Manager to spearhead a series of critical turnkey projects mainly focused on PLC/SCADA and technology based safety system.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assume a senior management role overseeing a portfolio of contracts collectively valued in the multi-million-pound range, from inception to successful delivery within stringent timelines.
  • Ensure that the projects within your purview are executed on time, on specification, within budget, and to the utmost satisfaction of our valued customers.
  • Collaborate closely with our production and hardware engineering teams based in Stone.
  • Maintain overall financial stewardship for these contracts, which includes overseeing subcontracts for specialized works and supplies.
  • Exercise leadership and mentorship, guiding a team of project managers, hardware and software engineers, and installation experts (up to 30 individuals).
  • Uphold responsibility for all aspects of Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety throughout the projects, in collaboration with our Company Q, H&S Manager, and project H&S Advisor.Conduct regular reporting and progress meetings with clients.
  • Play an integral role in securing future business by exceeding customer expectations through the consistent delivery of excellence.

Essential Requirements:

  • Proven experience in managing NEC3/4 contracts.
  • A minimum of 10 years' demonstrable experience in full E,C & I project management, specifically within the Power Transmission industry or a closely related regulated field.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, adept at engaging with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify and proactively address early commercial and technical risks/issues.
  • A track record of successfully achieving project milestones, margins, customer satisfaction, and stringent quality standards.
  • A valid driver's license and readiness to travel, with occasional overnight stays at customer sites.
  • Working towards or completion of APMpq or equivalent qualifications.
  • Prior experience in project proposals and bid work is a plus.
