Job Role - Senior Project Manager
 
Location - Oxford
 
Contract Length - 1 Year
 
Pay Rate - £700 a day (Umbrella)
 
I am looking to speak with senior project managers who have previous experience within high-level infrastructure and have spent time working with NEC4 contracts and managing these contracts.
The purpose of the role is to focus on and take responsibility for the documentation and safe execution of a single major project or a smaller number of initiatives whilst actively participating in all phases of the projects.
Key Responsibilities
·Identify, assess, and manage risks to the success of the project.
·Effectively estimate costs; timescales and resource requirements for the successful delivery of the project(s) to agree terms of reference.
·Ensuring that the realistic project and quality plans are prepared and maintained and tracks all activities against the plan.
·Provide regular and accurate reports to stakeholders.
·Monitor and forecast costs; timescales and resources used; and take action to mediate these tolerances.
·Ensuring the project is actively following the planned budget and time frames whilst staying on top of updating the relevant people of any potential threats to project readiness.
·Providing effective leadership to the project team ensuring that team members are motivated and developing their skills and experience.
·Taking appropriate action where the performance deviates from agreed tolerances.
·Ensuring the appropriate level or review is happening throughout the project and any deviation is monitored and dealt with appropriately.  
Necessary skills/qualifications  
·Association for Project Management (APM)
·PRINCE2
·International Project Management Association (IPMA)
·Managing Programmes (MSP) accreditation
·Ability to review risk assessments
