Senior Project Engineer

Location: London and Home Counties
Annual Salary: Up to £55k dependant on experience
Additional: Company car / car allowance of up to £5.6k
Hours: 45 per week - Monday to Friday
Other: Company pension, life assurance & healthcare

Carrington West are pleased to offer an exciting new opportunity with one of our clients, a multi-disciplinary civil engineering and construction company operating in the utilities and environmental sectors. They specialise in work within the water sector and have an excellent reputation for delivering work in a timely and professional manner.

They are currently looking for a Senior Project Engineer to be appointed as Temporary Works Coordinator and assume responsibility for the management of requesting, reviewing and installing temporary works designs. In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring the quality of the installation and construction of works and to prepare and maintain final documentation for each project for submission to clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Review of Project requirements and production of Temporary Works Design brief
  • Technical and buildability review of Temporary Works Designs
  • Quality Control of Temporary Works installation and required modifications, including production of design registers and required permits
  • Production and maintenance of Inspection Test Plans
  • Setting out and dimensional control of the works
  • Produce accurate 'as-built' drawings of the constructed works
  • Recording data and maintaining site records
  • Be conversant and up to date with relevant legislation on construction issues
  • Actively promote the Company to existing and new clients
