Senior Highways/Traffic Design Engineer

Are you ready to drive innovation in highway engineering? This company has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Senior Engineer to join our Design Services Team in Cheshire. As a key player in our team, you'll be at the forefront of a number of exciting projects.
The Role:
·Analyse engineering challenges, apply technical expertise, and produce innovative solutions.
·Assist in the management and provision of technical support for the team.
·Manage, mentor, and support junior team members.
·Provide professional and technical excellence in highway engineering.
·Identify, prepare, design, plan, program, and order works and services.
·Manage and monitor works programs or services.
·Offer timely and accurate advice to stakeholders on highway-related matters.
·Prepare reports for projects and attend meetings to provide support.
About You:
·Good knowledge and application of design procedures, guidance, standards, and good practice documents.
·Hold a current driving license.
·Experience in implementing traffic management and highway-related schemes.
·Good experience with budgetary governance, management, and control measures.
·Desirable: Experience presenting issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
·Essential: Knowledge and application of design procedures, guidance, standards, and good practice documents.
