Senior Flood Risk/Drainage Engineer
 
I am currently working with a private sector consultancy in the Surrey area, who are currently recruiting an experienced Senior Engineer. This is a long-term contract position offering work outside IR35. This role offers remote working in the first instance, and my client is willing to be flexible when offices begin to open again.
 
As a Senior Engineer, you will be required to support the expanding infrastructure team.  The job would require liaising with large range of public and private sector clients, from small residential schemes to large mixed-use developments.
 
Key Requirements
 
·Must have demonstrable experience in preparing Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies.
·Experience in carrying out the detailed design of drainage systems would be desirable.
·Must be experienced in using MicroDrainage.
·A good knowledge of SuDS and how they integrate into surface water drainage schemes is essential.
·Experience writing fee proposals.
·Good report writing and presentation skills.
