Carrington West have been retained by a niche building services consultancy based in Central Bristol who are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their business on a permanent basis.

The company work across various sectors including Education, Leisure and Hospitality and have secured frameworks with multiple well known M&E contractors, supporting many of them on all their design and build contracts. As such, they are involved in projects through RIBA stages 2-6 and you will be involved and running projects from concept design stage all the way to on-site completion. Giving you the opportunity to see your designs come to life!

They pride themselves on being a friendly team working in a relaxed fashion and thus, are given the autonomy to do what you do best and create sustainable solutions for their clients.

The company comprises currently of 10 people and you will report directly in to the Managing Director. As the Senior Electrical Engineer you will run projects, liaise with clients and provide on site support to contractors on a regular basis.

The role will also offer a generous home working split with site/client visits undertaken as necessary.

To be suitable for the role you will:

• Be HND or Degree educated in Electrical or Building Services Engineering
• Have a minimum of 5 years experience working in UK based Electrical building services design
• Have experience in client facing and on-site environments
• Be proficient in calculation software such as Amtech and Dialux
• Be a proficient user of AutoCAD MEP
• Have a full clean UK driving license
