Senior Ecologist
 
Our team is looking for a Senior Ecologist to join their growing team.
 
The successful candidate will ideally have at least four or five years of experience across a broad range of surveys for habitats and protected species. Ideally, you will be a Member of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management or Royal Society of Biology. You will have a comprehensive working knowledge of planning policy, best practice, and legislative drivers for ecological consultancy.
 
Key Skills:
·Need solid field id. across a range of species and habitats.
·A class 1 bat licence is essential. Class 2 is ideal. The ability to write EPSL and especially BMCL is highly desirable.
·To be comfortable with the application of BNG on sites large and small.
·To demonstrable experience in coaching and mentoring junior staff.
