Senior Development Manager
£500-550p/d Umbrella (dependant on experience)

What will you do?
The objective of the Development team is to implement the Assets and Growth Strategy, delivering complex development and regeneration schemes, new housing supply, new community assets including schools and community facilities, deliver capital receipts and new income streams, and manage stakeholder and community relationships.
The primary purpose of this post is to lead on the co-ordination, management and implementation of one or more complex assets and growth projects, ensuring quality, innovation, best practice and efficiency in commissioning and delivery. The post holder will take development from planning approval and transition to pre-construction and delivery, to completion and handover. The post holder will deputise for the Head of Development and provide specialist professional advice and support to Development Managers across the team.
What do you need?
To be successful in your application for this role you will need to demonstrate the following on application and through the interview process:
·UK Resident
·A relevant degree in construction, development or regeneration (e.g. Development, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Construction Technology, Building Surveying etc.), or, equivalent significant experience and evidence of continuous professional development (at least 5 years)
·Project management skills for technically complex projects involving and closely impacting upon residents and other stakeholders
·Demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to Council policies in relation to Equal Opportunity, Customer Care and service delivery, and the ability to implement these policies in the workplace.
