Senior DM Planning Officer
Minimum 2-Month Contract - 37 hours per week (Flexi-time)
Pay rate - £35-£38 Umbrella (negotiable)
Site visits once per week
 
Carrington West are recruiting for an experienced Senior Planning Officer for our Local Authority client based in Devon.
 
In this role, the post holder will be responsible for dealing with applications for planning permission (including major applications), advertisement consent, Listed Building consent, other applications under Local Development Orders, and discharge of conditions. This include, site inspections, negotiations with applicants/agents, consultations with appropriate departments, organisations, individuals, written reasoned justifications and formulating recommendations for consideration by Development Management Committee and Service Lead.
 
The hiring manager is looking for someone who can start as soon as possible. Interviews will be held over Zoom.
