My client in the Midlands is seeking experienced Planning Conservation Specialist to work with a Council Planning Department on a 3-month initial contract (likely to extend).
My client expects applicants to be experienced and able to hit the ground running.
The ideal candidate for this position will have:
·Relevant degree or equivalent experience in conservation or a related field
·Strong knowledge and understanding of conservation legislation and policy
·Experience in providing advice on conservation and heritage matters in a planning context/listed building consents
·Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear and concise reports
·Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
·An enthusiastic and proactive approach to work
This role can be worked on a hybrid basis.
