Senior Building Surveyor

Who will you be joining?

You will be joining a Hampshire based Local Authority with responsibility for over 3000 homes across their borough including both houses, flats and vulnerable housing. Further to this they also manage a mixed portfolio of commercial assets with projects from £50k to £1,000,000.

What will you do?

Within this role you will have a versatile list of responsibilities which includes the following:
·Management of a team of surveyors servicing both residential and non-residential properties
·Run planned projects using the JCT and NEC framework agreements
·Management of both internal and external resources including contractors
·Carry out a variety of Surveys including Stock Condition, Dilapidation, Asbestos and Measured
·Assess work required and inspect work carried out to ensure they meet the required quality and regulatory standards
 
What do you need?

To be successful in your application for this role you will need to demonstrate the following on application and through the interview process:
 
·Qualified to degree level in Surveying
·Affiliation with relevant industry bodies
·Previous experience of local authority assets
·Experience with both housing and non-residential properties
·A proven track record of project delivery with references to support
·Be located within Hampshire
·Have previously held a Senior level position with above responsibilities
