Senior Building Control Surveyor

£30-45p/h Inside IR35 DOE
 
Do you want to work for a highly motivated local authority planning team who consistently delivers a high level of service?
 
You will be mainly working from home, with the exception of site visits and key meetings. The office location can be discussed upon application to the role.
 
This newly created role is because of an increase in workload.
You will be required to work both individually and as part of a team to continue the high level of service that the local authority operate to currently.
 
To be successful in this position you MUST HAVE:
·Access to your own vehicle or a valid UK driving license (for travel to and from the office and for site visits)
·Be comfortable working from home and using Microsoft Teams/Zoom
·Please note this role would suit an experienced building control surveyor with 4+ years of experience in local authority Building Control.
Role & Responsibilities:
·You will need to inspect buildings, against regulations for public health, fire safety, energy conservation and sustainability and building accessibility
 
·carry out regular inspections of the building and building methods while works are being completed
 
·advise applicants on changes to ensure legal requirements are met
.
On offer is an hourly rate of up to £45p/h depending on experience.
