The Bristol office is based centrally, at the heart of the city centre-just a short walk away from the stunning harbourside and Temple Meads train station. The Bristol office is a truly multi-disciplinary collaborative team covering environmental, civil engineering and planning disciplines, designing with communities in mind, and having fun along the way. They are fortunate to work with excellent clients on some of the region's most exciting projects.
Their client-focused and result-driven approach means that they benefit from significant repeat business but they also have an ambitious growth strategy that you will help achieve. Their aim is to create valued solutions for clients, and to become indispensable to their future plans.
An important part of your role will be to work with the leadership team to identify and execute plans to grow the Transport Planning business in the South West. You will oversee a wide range of projects from larger and more complex strategic land development proposals through to smaller sites, in addition to strategic infrastructure delivery and public sector commissions. You will help drive forward the technical agenda in supporting clients through a shift in transport and mobility planning requirements developing their capabilities and the services they provide in response to the climate emergency and pursuit of net zero carbon outcomes .
This is a fantastic opportunity to grow an established and reputable business that will allow your creative and entrepreneurial leadership skills to come to the fore. They can offer you a flexible working environment and a mix of home and office working to fit around your busy lifestyle. You will be supported by a collaborative leadership team and play a key role in the business, at a very exciting time for them.
About You

Your network within the local market will enable you to build effective relationship and business development opportunities.
You will have a proven record of working with public sector clients and/or private sector land development related clients in the South West. You will have excellent technical knowledge, particularly in strategic planning, active travel, transport and mobility planning and development planning.
Most importantly, you will have the ambition and passion to grow the team, deliver and build upon the existing projects within their portfolio and identify new opportunities in the market.
