Senior Associate or Director Architect / Project Manager - Defence Sector

About the role
As the Senior Associate or Director Architect / Project Manager, you will lead major defence projects from conception to completion, ensuring every stage runs seamlessly. You'll act as the central point between clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary design teams-driving innovation, compliance, and quality throughout.
You will:
·Lead, coordinate, and deliver defence-related design projects nationally.
·Manage multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring projects meet quality, budget, and time expectations.
·Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, securing ongoing and future work.
·Contribute to strategic planning, business development, and national defence growth strategy.
·Work closely with Defence Directors and Partners to shape long-term objectives and succession planning.
Must have (essential) skills
To thrive as a Senior Associate or Director Architect / Project Manager, you'll bring:
·Degree in a built environment or construction-related subject, ideally RIBA Chartered.
·Proven experience managing complex architectural or construction projects independently.
·Expertise in the defence sector, with a solid understanding of regulations and standards.
·Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
·In-depth knowledge of UK Building Regulations and project management tools/software.
Due to the nature of the work, active or achievable UK SC Clearance is required.
