Section Engineer needed ASAP!
 
Location: Cornwall (initial assignment), Penrith (follow-up assignment)
Salary: £400 per day (Outside IR35)! Accommodation is also provided and paid for!

Are you a dedicated and experienced Section Engineer with a passion for ensuring the highest standards in highway infrastructure projects? We are seeking a skilled individual to join a team for an exciting opportunity to contribute to two significant highways schemes in Cornwall and Penrith.

Responsibilities:
As a Section Engineer, you will be a pivotal part of the project team, ensuring the successful execution of these vital infrastructure projects. Your responsibilities will include:
·Overseeing the technical aspects of the projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications and regulations.
·Collaborating with the project manager, design teams, and stakeholders to ensure effective project delivery.
·Managing the construction process, monitoring progress, quality, and safety on-site.
·Providing technical guidance and support to the construction team and subcontractors.
·Resolving technical issues and challenges, implementing practical solutions.
·Documenting and reporting project progress, challenges, and solutions.

Requirements:
·Proven experience as a Section Engineer within the highways or infrastructure sector.
·Strong technical knowledge of highway construction methods, materials, and standards.
·Excellent organizational and project management skills.
·Effective communication and leadership abilities to coordinate on-site activities.
·Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
·Relevant engineering qualifications or degree are desirable.
