Job description
We currently have a excellent opportunity working for a leading utilities contractor as a NRSWA Planning and Scheduling Manager, The ideal manager will be responsible for managing a team to deliver the core planning functions for a Waste Water Civils contract.
Salary will be depended on experience with opportunities for progression within a successful growing company.
You will work closely with Client, Local Authorities, Field and Management to ensure work is planned and completed efficiently and effectively.
Key Duties include:
·Managing team of planners
·Monitoring backlogs/WIP to ensure contractual priorities are met
·Developing management level materials to provide to Client and key stakeholders
·Building strong relationships with Highways Authority and escalated planning complaints or issues
·Managing Permit overruns and implementing solutions to resolve
·Ensuring that the coordination of the works between permits, enabling and traffic management is undertaken
·Managing HR requirements for Planners
Key Skills and Competencies
·NRSWA Streetworks knowledge
·Experience within a busy office environment
·Good time management and highly organised
·Ability to prioritise own work load and manage expectations
·Responsible for Data Quality
·Great attention to detail
·Be skilled in the following MS programmes; Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
