Carrington West are working in partnership with a market leader in the Highways Term Maintenance Industry, who are looking for an experienced Scheduler to join their Essex/Greater London based team.

As a Scheduler you will be the first point of contact for all external enquiries within the highways sector, responsible for receiving and logging defects from the Police, inspectors and clients by phone and email.
Duties will include:
·Assessing all enquiries against the defect guidance and relevant intervention levels to determine appropriate response timescale
·Locating the most appropriate gang based on proximity, skill set and availability
·Continually liaising with operational supervisors to discuss workload and resource availability
·Ensuring all relevant information is provided to the gang, including due time, job/enquiry number and full location and description
·Scheduling works to ensure they are complete ahead of their due date
The successful Scheduler will have:
·Industry experience, or experienced gained in a similar industry ideally within a control room function
·Experience talking to multiple different people with various levels of seniority
·Strong IT skills
·Excellent communication skills
·Ability to use your own initiative
·Salary up to £25,000 per annum
·40hours per week, 23:00pm - 07:00am
·Involves some weekend working every few weeks on a shift rotation (Sat night + Sun night, 24hrs including 2 x 12 hrs shift)
