S106 Monitoring Officer
£25-£30 per hour Umbrella
3-month contract
Somerset - 100% remote
 
I am recruiting for my Local Authority client based in Somerset, as they look to cover a temporary gap in the S106 function of the Planning department.
 
The main responsibilities of this role are to:
·Take a proactive role in administering the S106 payments and monitoring S106 agreements.
·Support colleagues in understanding and applying the S106/CIL legislation.
·Have an eye for detail, a high level of precision and proven information management and numeracy skills, ensuring collection of S106 payments are carried out accurately and effectively.
·To have a day-to-day operational role in the recording, collection, monitoring, and reporting of s106 financial and non-financial obligations on the Exacom monitoring system.
·Have a professional approach, with the ability to communicate information to a broad range of customers, internal colleagues and senior managers.
·Independently handle a caseload and meet deadlines to ensure that the Planning Service is recognised as delivering an excellent service to all of our customers.
