Retrofit Project Manager
£450p/d Umbrella Rate (Inside IR35)
6 Months Initially (view for extension)
Greater London
 
What will you do?
The team's currently working on a retrofit programme for their social housing, delivering to the target of reaching net zero by 2030.
They have received funding which has been matched by Council funding to give a total project budget of c.£14m.
In summary, the project includes 348 properties across the Borough, and the scope includes loft insulation; External Wall Insulation (EWI); ventilation and double-glazing.


Strong PM required with experience of this type of work, who can coordinate and drive delivery across the homes.
In addition to the Property PM Job Description previously shared, we need someone who can:
-lead the management, design development, coordination, implementation, and deliver of this work through to final completion;
-commission and manage a Principal Contractor, plus supporting consultants;
-collaborate with others - colleagues and key stakeholders;
-prepare and maintain the Programme Plan, Project Plans and all associated project documentation to ensure robust project governance at all times;
-liaise with colleagues to report progress to DESNZ, on a monthly basis;
-ensure projects are delivered in full compliance with funding criteria (evidence to be submitted).
 
What do you need?  
To be successful in your application for this role you will need to demonstrate the following on application and through the interview process:  
·UK Resident
·Degree in Building Surveying, or HNC in Construction together with relevant demonstrable work experience within the construction industry.
·Confident in engaging delivery partners to ensure a well-planned and budgeted delivery programme.
·Able to demonstrate experience in project financial management, tender procedures, consultant coordination, contract administration and site inspection.
·Should have a technical experience on energy upgrades.
·Knowledge on PAS 2030/2035 would be beneficial.
