Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor with experience working on reactive infrastructure frameworks?

Location: Chippenham + hybrid working (initially 3 days in office, STC)
Salary: £40,000 - £65,000 per annum (DOE) + £5000 car/travel allowance or company car
 
You will join a dynamic, evolving commercial team in a company that works on reactive frameworks, including civil works, drainage, and more within the rail industry. They are looking for a proactive and ambitious Quantity Surveyor to join them as they expand into new areas. About the Role:
·This role will involve working closely with the commercial team on minor civils projects within the rail sector.
·Although rail experience is not essential, experience in reactive frameworks or civil works will be advantageous.
·You will be involved in NEC contract administration (NEC4 experience is a plus but not required).
·Flexibility is key: while you'll need to be in the office near Swindon at least three days a week initially, there's the option to work remotely, and you'll visit the client office once every one or two weeks.
 
Key Responsibilities:
·Preparation of accurate cost estimates and budgets to ensure effective financial control.
·Managing the administration of NEC contracts, including commercial reporting, CVRs, and negotiations.
·Supporting risk management and procurement processes for successful project delivery.
·Regular collaboration with project teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
·Opportunity to lead the commercial team as the department grows and matures.
 
Ideal Candidate:
·Minimum 5 years post-graduate experience in a commercial function (with at least 2-3 years as a Quantity Surveyor).
·Experience in reactive frameworks, civil works, or rail would be ideal, but we are open to all relevant sectors.
·Motivated, driven, and eager to grow with a company that offers career progression.
·No formal qualifications required, practical experience and attitude are what matter most.
