We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor for a 12-month contract to work on a significant highways improvement project. This role, which falls outside IR35, involves upgrading a major road to improve traffic flow into a new residential and commercial area in Guildford. The project focuses on delivering highways work, ensuring seamless integration between the existing road network and the new development.

Key Responsibilities
·Manage all commercial aspects of the project, including cost control, valuations, and contract administration.
·Ensure compliance with NEC 3/4 contract requirements.
·Oversee the financial management of the road improvement works, facilitating traffic into the new development.
·Collaborate with the project team and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery within budget.
·Mitigate risk and resolve contractual issues as they arise.

Requirements
·Experience: Minimum of 5 years as a Quantity Surveyor, with a focus on UK highways projects.
·Contract Knowledge: In-depth experience working with NEC 3/4 contracts.
·Tier One Contractor: Previous experience with a Tier One contractor is highly desirable.
·Experience in road improvement or Section 278 packages is a strong advantage.
·Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
