Are you a Quantity Surveyor who has recent Highways Experience?
 
What we need:
We are currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor to oversee Highways projects in Essex. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of cost control, contract management, and procurement for a variety of Highways projects. The projects will be undertaken under NEC3 and NEC4 contracts, therefore a good understanding of these contracts is essential.

What you'll do:
·Provide advice and guidance to project teams on contract matters, procurement, and cost management.
·Manage all commercial aspects of the project, including cost control, valuation, and payment of subcontractors.
·Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions, including managing any disputes that arise.
·Manage subcontractors and suppliers, including procurement and negotiation of terms.
·Prepare and present cost reports to the Project Manager and other stakeholders.
·Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure the project is delivered within budget and on time.
·Ensure that all documentation is up-to-date and accurate.
