I have an excellent opportunity based in Birmingham in my clients Public Response team which is part of the wider community and stakeholder team, working across a partnership of 3 companies and their Communications and Stakeholder Engagement group.
This role's focus is providing support services for those impacted by a large scale infrastructure project. This includes well-being, advocacy, translation, and support services to provide meaningful communication and engagement across the route.

Salary: £41,745 to £48,300 with up to 12% pension (double matched up to 6%). 
Where: Birmingham, 2/3 days per week, occasional travel to London may be required which will be expensed.

Requirements:

  • Understanding of how large infrastructure projects can impact communities.
  • Ability to progress special support cases from inception to mitigation, including delivering information an mitigations to those in the supply chain.
  • Strong case management, organisation, and prioritisation skills
  • Ability to be sensitive and respectful when working with complex vulnerable support cases.
  • Contract management skills.
  • Thorough and accurate report writing skills and recording keeping, including medical evidence to take to a panel.
  • Strong skills in communication, presentation, stakeholder engagement, networking and relationship building.
  • Experience and ability to review and develop well put together strategies and frameworks policy ad procedures.
  • Understanding of Equalities Act 2010.
  • Experience in Specialist Support delivery, and working with a Special Cases Panel.
  • Speed and efficiency when managing multiple cases.
  • Knowledge and experience to assist with the development of reporting processes.
  • Experience working in an EDI setting beneficial.
  • Understanding why someone may have a need for reasonable adjustment.
  • Complaints management process knowledge.
