Job Title: Project Planner - National Grid Substation Project


Location: Pembroke


7 months Contract


About the Role:


We are seeking an experienced Project Planner to join a major National Grid substation construction project in Wales. The successful candidate will play a key role in the planning and scheduling of works, ensuring the project is delivered on time and within scope.


Key Responsibilities:


·Develop, update, and maintain detailed project plans using Primavera P6
·Work closely with engineering, construction, and commercial teams to coordinate activities and track progress
·Identify project risks and delays and propose mitigation strategies
·Produce regular progress reports for internal and external stakeholders, including National Grid
·Ensure compliance with project timelines, milestones, and reporting requirements


Requirements:


·Proven experience as a Planner on large-scale infrastructure or energy projects
·Extensive knowledge of substation construction, ideally to National Grid standards
·Proficient in Primavera P6 (essential)
·Familiarity with NEC contracts is advantageous
·Strong communication and organisational skills
·Right to work in the UK


Desirable:
·Experience with National Grid processes and protocols
