You will be responsible for managing multiple schemes from inception through to completion, ensuring safe, efficient, and right-first-time delivery. You will lead a team of delivery professionals and act as the main point of contact for the client and wider stakeholders, including highways authorities, local councils, and Thames Water operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project plans covering scope, programme, resources, and budgets across multiple schemes.
- Coordinate and monitor project activities to ensure timely delivery and achievement of project objectives.
- Apply effective project management methodologies and best practices to optimise performance.
- Attend project start-up meetings and liaise regularly with the P6 planning team to maintain accurate programmes.
- Manage project resources efficiently to maximise productivity and minimise waste.
- Ensure compliance with client requirements, regulatory obligations, and industry standards, including permits and licences.
Skills, Experience, and Knowledge
- Proven Project Management experience within the Water or Utilities sector.
- Experience working on clean water pipeline projects, ideally including trenchless works.
- Strong knowledge of project controls, including cost management, resource planning, and programme management.
- Understanding of clean water networks.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to manage several projects within a fast-paced delivery environment.
What's on Offer
- 18-month initial contract with a strong temp-to-perm opportunity.
- Opportunity to work on a long-term, high-profile clean water infrastructure programme.
- Career progression within a growing and resilient sector.
